The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
I had some watermelon from a fruit platter yesterday. I see it as a hydrating food, full of water.
ReplyDeleteSaves having to remember to drink actual water, but without enough solid food, it's probably best to limit the number of slices. Which I forgot.
ReplyDeleteuh oh....hope it 'passes' soon.
ReplyDeleteNo watermelon here. Rather a lot of other fruit though. There were over fifteen types in my fruit salad (which I will have more of today).
ReplyDeleteDelores; hahaha, I see what you did there. It did pass quite quickly, I was comfortable by bedtime.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; I still have most of a wedge of watermelon in the fridge. I'll space out the eating of it though, have some regular meals in between. I've never made my own fruit salad. Got any hints about that? Best fruits to use etc?
