  We are nine days old now sleeping well, gaining weight stretching and kicking time num num num burp! hello world, why are you upside down?

  here the girls are four days old and the proud new Daddy with his hands full, the girls are now five days old.

 one taken by me, one not taken by me. I have permission now to post these, so let me present to you all>> Genevieve and Anastasia at one day old Genevieve and Anastasia at two days old. Born three weeks early, they are so very tiny, but breathing on their own and sleeping well. Do any of you remember the "Baby Born" dolls that every little girl wanted about 25 years ago? That's how big these little girls are, with Genevieve being just slightly bigger than her twin, about a pound heavier. I took this second photo when I went to visit and hold them on Saturday. Today, they are four days old, my how time does fly. 

 Long ago, Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if overseas bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Here's my quick and easy winter soup: a family sized can of condensed tomato soup, a can each of red kidney beans, cannellini beans and butter beans two onions, two carrots, a quarter of a cabbage there's the receipt the soup ingredients totalling $12.16 I added a quarter cup of risoni, which is rice shaped pasta,  pre-cooked, then added just before serving, and three cloves of garlic, finely chopped. I had these already in the pantry, so didn't need to buy them. here ...
