a couple of photos for you

one taken by me, one not taken by me. I have permission now to post these, so let me present to you all>>

Genevieve and Anastasia at one day old

Genevieve and Anastasia at two days old.

Born three weeks early, they are so very tiny, but breathing on their own and sleeping well.

Do any of you remember the "Baby Born" dolls that every little girl wanted about 25 years ago?

That's how big these little girls are, with Genevieve being just slightly bigger than her twin, about a pound heavier.

I took this second photo when I went to visit and hold them on Saturday.

Today, they are four days old, my how time does fly.

  1. They are precious sweet angels. This reminds me of when I worked at the hospital lab in El Paso. When there was a lull at work, I would go upstairs and help the nurses with the many tiny babies. Feeding, changing, and rocking them to sleep. It was like being in heaven, I loved it.

    1. Val; they even have them lying on the same side as before they were born, Gen was on the left in the womb, with Ana on the right, so I think that's the most comfortable for them.

    1. Andrew; but not outlandish names, and there won't be three or six others in the class at school so the teachers have to use surname initials. They are also names that travel well into adulthood.
