Sweet. How the twins will relate to each other in the future is an unknown, but I think it will be good. While you already have your own grandchildren, aren't these from your own blood so special.
Andrew; they are very special, the others are all from my own blood too, from my older children. This is my youngest, my "baby boy", now with babies of his own.
Arkansas Patti; it will be a while, there is a weight limit they must reach before leaving the hospital. And they must also be feeding without the tube, at the moment they are combining tube feeding with breast feeding.
messymimi; I have seen them, last Saturday. the hospital is restricting visitors to one at a time because of covid and flu, so we are all taking turns.
Oh, how absolutely fabulous! What a precious picture. Hope they get home soon. There are quite a few sets of identical twins in my family. I have twin nephews, twin nieces and twin cousins! One nephew was so frail when he was born he was baptised in hospital! That was 40 years ago. He' grew up to be a 6ft rugby playing builder!
I shall keep this short and sweet. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! I am truly surprised to have received this: Laughing Horse Award from Yorkshire Pudding , also known as YP, for being the Australian Blogger of the Year. Click the link to read the nice things he said.
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; aren't they just! I'll have to be sure not to overdo the photos, they really don't look much different from one day to the next.

ReplyDeleteVal; he is very proud, in part because he is the only one in the entire family to produce twins, and that includes past generations, on both sides.
