Musical Monday # 105
Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.
Today’s clip is: Neil Diamond
Cracklin' Rosie
and the lyrics :)
Love it--thanks!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; you're welcome!
DeleteGoodness he was young.
ReplyDeleteAnd even I remember that one. Thank you.
We all were young then, nice that you remember this one. it did get a lot of airplay.
DeleteI'm still a fan of Neil Diamond. And he is still looking good these days, too. Diamond is a girl's best friend! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still a fan too and yes, he still is good looking.
DeleteSunscreen is a girl's best friend.
Hot August Night great record I still have it.
ReplyDeleteMerle...............
Merle; I don't have any of his records, I couldn't afford them back then, but I have the songs from i-tunes.
DeleteHello River - she with the shorter hair :)
ReplyDeleteNeil Diamond was in good form earlier this year. We were gifter tickets for one of his Melbourne shows and had the time of our lives. Knew the words to all his songs lol
Oh I'm joining in with Musical Monday this week
Cathy
Cathy; I would have loved to see Neil Diamond's concert, but just couldn't manage it. I had a prior engagement, a farewell dinner for a friend who was moving far away.
DeleteNice to have you joining in, I'll pop over and see what you've got.
I always do a Question Of The Week on Mondays so probably won't add this but I will certainly enjoy listen to others. I like both of yours.
ReplyDeleteGranny Annie; welcome to drifting. I'm glad you liked my music choice.
DeleteHi River,
ReplyDeleteAlways good to hear some Neil Diamond. He was amazing as he performed at the Glastonbury Festival over here in the UK, back in 2008.
Thank you, River.
Gary
klahanie; he's always been amazing and I was sorry to miss his Australian concert last November.
DeleteI've never heard a lot of Neil Diamond music but it seems a cheerful enough song with a good beat.
ReplyDeleteMimsie; I don't think there's a single song of his that I don't like, although I certainly like some more that others.
