The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Ha ha ha!
ReplyDeletejabblog; that's exactly what I said :)
Deleteworse...where are the packets for chocolate ice cream?
ReplyDeleteAuthor R Mac Wheeler; I can't wait for chocolate ice cream to grow, I get mine ready to eat from the supermarket!
DeleteHimself would agree that a vegie garden without bacon would be a tragedy...
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; not a big concern for me, not being a bacon fan, but wouldn't it be handy?
DeleteDamn! That nursery never has the seeds I want!!
ReplyDeleteLee; I have the same trouble with seedlings or bigger plants. I always seem to want them out of season and expect the nursery to have them. Bulbs too.
DeleteI recently bought some apple pie seeds & would you believe the nursery was out of a la mode?
ReplyDeletefishducky; well, that's annoying! you'll have to make your own. Perhaps you could preorder next time to be sure you get them.
DeleteI saw some on facebook, but as much as I'd like to get some, I don't believe DH would want me having them in the house.
ReplyDeleteS.J.Qualls; You saw bacon seeds?
DeleteIf only those existed.
ReplyDeleteCheryl; but then pig farmers would go out of business and there would be no more ham. I do love ham.
