Whimsical Wednesday #71
Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!
The day for your googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.
Mammoth stew, much better on day two.
And day three, day four.....how much meat is on a mammoth?

Pearl
Pearl; as long as your freezer is big enough. Mine is tiny.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely curry by day 5 I would imagine.
ReplyDeleteMen...you cook you clean and still they find something to complain about lol.
ReplyDeleteMammoth tastes like chicken, right?
ReplyDeleteMen do have a long history of complaining, I didn't realise how long.
ReplyDeleteMerle.......
I LOVE leftovers. They often have more flavour, I only have to cook once - and wash one set of cooking utensals. Win, win.
ReplyDeleteA farmers Wife; that's what I thought too. I was reminded of a family I knew when I was young, where every Friday night was curry night.
ReplyDeleteDelores; but they shut up pretty quick if you hand them a beer and the remote.
Susan; I'd think more like beef. They're ancestors of elephants.
Elephant's Child; I'm a fan of cooking once and eating for three days too.
Merlesworld; too long and too loud.
Yep, that's a good one.
ReplyDeleteWhen Phil does chilli con carne (I cook the rice) it always last two days and as EC says the flavour is better on the second day.
Mimsie; chilli of any kind isn't a favourite of mine, but I do like most casserole/stew type recipes better on the second day, even curries after the flavours have had time to marry.
ReplyDeletea bit like goulash really, lol. Great cartoon.
ReplyDeleteThe Wicked Writer; my mum used to make goulash, with mashed potatoes and green beans.....yum.
