Angel update
You'll all be pleased to hear that Angel's claw wound is completely healed and the hair is beginning to grow back over it.
Yesterday I witnessed him hissing like a wild cat at his 'friend' from across the driveway, when the friend wanted to join him on our front porch.
Usually they will share the sunny porch, but stay at opposite ends, so I think perhaps B was the one who lost his claw in Angel's shoulder.

Ah well, neighbours don't always get along.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; they were almost friends and maybe they will be again. B is new to the area, only been here less than a year.
DeleteI'm glad to hear that Angel is fine. I had been wondering how he was getting on. Good news. :)
ReplyDeleteLee; he is very well, I was happy to see him begin eating again after I pulled out the claw, now his appetite is what it used to be.
Delete*Big Smile*!
DeleteSuccessful surgery!
ReplyDeletejoeh; I won't hang out my shingle just yet, we'll see where the next few years and fights take us. I do hope there won't be any fights though.
DeleteUpstart!
ReplyDeleteJoanne; yes. Moves in and thinks he owns the area. He'll know better now.
DeleteHappy to hear that Angel has recovered. If the claw is from the bad kitty neighbor, I wouldn't want to share my porch with him either. Perhaps all will be forgiven in time.
ReplyDeleteCheryl; I spotted B just before Angel did and wondered if I should shoo him away, but Angel stood up for himself. I hope they can be friends again one day.
DeleteGlad to hear it. And also glad to hear that Angel remembers. Some of our cats definitely fell into the slow learner category.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; Angel seems to have quite a good memory. I really hope he avoids fights from now on though.
DeleteOnce bitten twice shy as they say, they learn slowly sometimes.
ReplyDeletemerle.................
Merle; once bitten and forever defensive in this case. I hope they can eventually share the porch again.
DeleteSo glad he's better--& more discerning!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; me too and I'm glad he defends his territory now. In the past he'd be scrambling at the door to get back inside. He's grown up.
Delete.. glad to hear Angel is fit again.. and it probably was B he had his disagreement with... xx
ReplyDeleteI love your Wednesday giggle.. and the music clip..
Have a great day ... Barb xxxx
Barbara; I'm glad I didn't need to take him to the vet. I have insurance for him, but it still might have turned out costly.
