Musical Monday #114

Musical Monday

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.

I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Matraca Berg and friends

Back In The Saddle

same song, different video:

some mighty fine cowboys here :)

And Berg is a real country gal. She's written a lot of songs!

    Happy Monday!

  4. "Git! Skedaddle! Durn polecat!"
Years ago poor RH went to America wanting to see first hand the American culture he grew up with here in Australia. And maybe hoping to sit aroun' the ol' cracker barrel with some good ol' boys. In Flagstaff my taxi driver wore a cowboy hat, and a bloke running a tourist store was wearing the full western outfit at a Greyhound stop in the middle of nowhere. And that's all. There's no six-gun cowboys anymore, and no one says things like "Mean mess o' vittles maw!" All the same, I love that dialect, and the Southern accent too.

    1. R.H. Probably the only place you'll see this type of thing now is dude ranches, movies and music clips like this. it's great to listen to.

  5. As much as you love country music you need to come to the USA and visit me. I will take you to Branson, Missouri for some great shows and music.

  7. Well darlings this is my fourth comment but
i want it known there's a wild west themed pub here with a coin operated bucking bull which drunks in cowboy clothes like to get on and ride. The trouble is the drunker they get the more they want to give it a go, being tossed into the air immediately, landing on their arse.
