Whimsical Wednesday # 16

Banana Dog.

I have actually eaten banana dogs, which are just peeled bananas in a hot dog bun with a little chocolate sauce drizzled on them, sometimes a little whipped cream.....but I haven't had one for several years now.
It's quicker to just eat the banana.

Thank You Google Images.

  1. This is too darn kute. I don't want to know where you find these; I'd rather come here to find them.

  2. Very very cute - even Sapphire (who detests bananas to the level of obsession) would like this.

  4. Joanne; thank you, they are very cute aren't they?

Kath; I'm always surprised when people don't like bananas, just like others are surprised when I don't like asparagus. They're such universally accepted foods. But as cartoons, who couldn't like them?

Windsmoke; mmmmm, smoothies. I must make some more yoghurt.

  5. I'm a fan of the ol fashioned Banana Split...Yum!
The price of bananas went crazy down here after the last Cyclone (Hurricane) wiped out the whole banana growing area in QLD, the price has only now come down to affordable levels. They were $18.00 a KG here...

Tempo; there's something I haven't had for probably twenty years!
Bananas down here have been reasonably priced for quite a while. I bought some yesterday for $1.79 per kg.

  8. Hey River,
Good grief, for one brief moment, I thought that was a picture of one of my fellow Jack Russell dogs :)
