The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Sounds like my township job. No new skills to learn.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
sounds wise.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't want to branch out, just stick with his strengths.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes not.
ReplyDeleteMerle; me too, stick with what you know works.
Kelley; Calvin is sometimes so very wise.
Margaret-whiteangel; sometimes that's best.
I should stick with what I know works more often, but there are so many other options!
ReplyDeleteJacqueline; there's always options, but I'm the lazy type, not always keen to try new things.
ReplyDeleteIt's sensible to stick with one's strength; and if one has few strengths that makes the sticking to much easier. Having some Super Glue on hand helps, too!
ReplyDeleteI resolved not to make any resolutions so I have no trouble sticking to my resolve! :)
Lee; I never make resolutions either.
