Sunday Selections #36
It's Sunday Selections time again!
Time to post photos that have been hiding away in your computer files, photos that you may have completely forgotten about.
Have a hunt through your files and find them.
This idea comes to us from Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, who realised one day that she takes many more photos than she uses, as we all do, and wanted to post some of the older ones on her blog.
A once a week meme seemed like a good idea, so Sunday Selections was born, and anybody at all can join in.
I often choose a theme for my Sunday Selections, and this week my theme is:
BLUE
Blue in patches,
Blue with puffs of cottonwool clouds,
Blue fast being overtaken by the rain clouds.
Miles and miles and miles of blue...
...as far as the eye can see.
Summery blue sky above the shops opposite my bus stop.
Blue background for a chimney standing straight and tall.
To join in with Sunday Selections, post photos of your choice under the Sunday Selections title, go to Kim's site, add your name to her linky list, then leave her a comment.
Then have a look at what others have posted for their Sunday Selections.
There are some really good photographers out there.

Lots and lots of blue. Love it, thanks. Is Kim not playing today do you know? She usually posts her Sunday Selections earlier than this.
ReplyDeleteEC; Kim has posted something else; Veronica from Sleepless Nights is hosting Sunday Selections today.
ReplyDeleteI am lovin' the second photo in particular. Fluffy clouds = awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Jodie and loving the clouds in #2 also :) Blue sky, of course, is very lovely, but there is nothing quite as happy as fluffy white clouds :)
ReplyDeleteJodie and permanently amanda; I remember taking that photo while waiting for a bus one morning. By the time I'd arrived at my destination they'd gathered into one huge black cloud that later dumped a ton of rain o me.
ReplyDeleteHi River,
ReplyDeleteLiving in Manchester, we see blue sky but usually accompanied by fluffy cloud - sometimes - when the grey clouds have run away.
:-)
Cheers

Look at that beautiful clear Aussie blue sky!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou do have blue skies. Must not be pollution where you live. I think in songs.....I was thinking of the song, "I'd rather be blue, thinking of you.... I'd rather be blue." Don't know the name of it. Ha.
ReplyDeleteManzanita@Wannabuyaduck
That lovely china blue always holds promise of a balmy sunny day with so many adventures... ;)
ReplyDeletePlasman; I've heard of English skies, and I'm glad I live in Australia. I like cool weather, but I love blue skies.
ReplyDeleteKath; surely Switzerland has blue sky too? (I keep typing Sweden...)
Manzanita; we do have pollution, just not as much; usually when we can't see sky it's because of fog, not smog.
Jayne; it's a glorious colour! Usually accompanied by a glorious day.
