Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Charlotte's colour of the month for May is Gold : The colour of sunshine, daffodils, little yellow dandelions before they become puffballs, baby chicken and ducklings too are golden . the pan is prepared, the ingredients are measured and ready, look at those gloriously golden egg yolks, and the golden butter, let's mix and bake just out of the oven, a golden lemon ricotta cake time to take off the paper, and see it ...
Oh my, must have a look it might still be there.
ReplyDeleteI have seen a dog cry with real tears on YouTube, rather sad,..
I had the same reaction. Still do, thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll look at that.
ReplyDeleteI had to google it--so sad!! If you want to see it, look here: http://www.boredpanda.com/shelter-dog-abused-petted-first-time-monica-mitreanu-breasta-craiova-romania/
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are prickling just reading about it.
ReplyDeleteCannot watch. Nothing gets me more than stories like that.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; I still get teary thinking about it. I've never heard a dog cry in fear before. I've heard yelps and frightened barks, but this was just too much.
ReplyDeleteDelores; probably best not to.
fishducky; yes, that's the one. I'm horrified thinking what that poor puppy went through to become so afraid of being touched.
Elephant's Child, mine are watering again...'scuse me, I need a tissue.
Andrew; I can't stop seeing it now, even without the computer, it's in my brain.
I won't watch it...there are too many stories and images around as it is...on the news every day, in the newspapers...it's doesn't take much to set off my tears.
