Looks yummmy indeed. I've been a big fan of wholemeal bread for many years there's no other bread that comes close to the taste of wholemeal bread and its full of fibre :-).
Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Beginning today with a few photos of my TV screen, on the news: In the far north, the APY Lands (I think, it was a while ago) the indigenous people held their own Grand Final football match: in the heat and the red dust much fun was had spectators as well as players it was lovely to see, quite a change from the city matches with over-crowded stands and all the cheering and booing that goes on. on another TV show: she really killed...

The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1.conviviality 2.adoration 3.willpower 4.mellow 5.gentle 6.guitar Have fun, don't use all the words if you can't,there's no pressure here. My story will appear on this blog on Friday as always, unless I can't write one... edit: Charlotte's colour of the month is Beauty Berry Purple.

ReplyDeleteLooks yummmy indeed. I've been a big fan of wholemeal bread for many years there's no other bread that comes close to the taste of wholemeal bread and its full of fibre :-).
ReplyDeleteI have a passion for the sour dough breads these days, but there is little to beat cheese and tomato. Yummo.
ReplyDeleteDelores; it was delicious.
ReplyDeleteElisabeth; I finally got fed up with porridge every day for breakfast.
Windsmoke; I actually don't like wholemeal bread all that much, (I know it's better for me), but as a base for cheese and other toppings, it's okay.
EC; I've tried sourdough bread and I really didn't like it. Toasted cheese and tomato always goes down well though.
One of my favourite combinations when on the road...
ReplyDeleteThis is like my favourite breakfast in the whole world. NICE.
ReplyDeleteThat'/s almost exactly what I'm eating for lunch right now!
