join me in a cup of tea?

Knock Knock.

Hi there! Come on in.
How are you?
Keeping busy? That's good.

Me?
I've been baking, there's a fresh batch of scones, just out of the oven.

Would you like some? It's just about supper time.

We can have them with jam and cream.

The kettle's just boiled; join me in a cup of tea?

So tell me, how's your day been?

  4. Last time i attempted to eat a scone it was so hard it could've be used as a lethal weapon, but these look tempting though. "Join me in a cup of tea" now that is bizarre, but well done indeed :-).
