Welcome to 2026! I hope this is a good year for everyone, hopefully even better than last year. Try not to fall over folks, it's not fun. 🌞🎈🎉 Coming to you from sunny Australia, that big lump of land under the equator. Sunday Selections will be continuing, hosted by me , participation is optional, if you can't manage every week for any reason, that's okay. Words for Wednesday will also be continuing, hosted by me , and again, participation is optional, play when you can, take a break when you need to. Charlotte will be providing a colour for each month as she did last year, we try to use the colour somewhere in our posts, either photographing something with that colour or using it in another way. This month's colour is Carmine: Isn't that just gorgeous? And why is my text in two different sizes?
Love this. If only I could draw.
ReplyDeleteClever. And fun.
ReplyDeleteThis artist does amazing stuff!! See my post on him here: http://fishducky.blogspot.com/2015/10/draw-picture-add-piece-of-lettuce.html
ReplyDeleteNow I'm looking at the two lettuce I bought this morning with a different approach!
ReplyDeleteAndrew; scatter some food on a clean sheet of paper and see where your pencil takes you.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; and throughout our childhoods we were told NOT to play with our food! Just think, we might have all become artistic geniuses.
fishducky; more lettuce? I'll be right over....
Lee; slice or tear one as you would normally, but take an axe to the other and see what happens?
Yeah...I already know what will happen...I'll smash the kitchen bench! lol
DeleteMy landlords will love that! ;)
That's what the great outdoors is for.
DeleteHow quaint. Some people have great ideas..
